Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies webconsults.tech uses — and which ones we don't.

✓  Last updated: 19 October 2026

Cookies in short

✓  No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies
✓  No third-party cookies, social media widgets or external fonts
✓  That's why there is no cookie banner on our website

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, work in the same way. They can be used to make a website work, to remember your preferences, or to track your behaviour across websites.

2. Cookies we use for visitors

None. When you browse webconsults.tech, we don't place any cookies in your browser.

WordPress uses one item of temporary browser storage:

  • wpEmojiSettingsSupports (session storage) — checks whether your browser can display emoji correctly. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the browser tab.

3. Cookies for website administrators

When our own team logs in to manage the website, WordPress uses strictly necessary cookies to keep them signed in securely (for example wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wordpress_test_cookie and wp-settings-…). These are never placed for regular visitors.

4. Third-party cookies

We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos, maps or social media plugins. The social media icons on our website are plain links: the platforms only place their own cookies if you click through to their websites, and their own cookie policies then apply.

5. The law

Under Dutch law (article 11.7a of the Telecommunicatiewet) and EU rules, websites must ask for consent before placing cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because we only use what is strictly necessary, no consent is needed. Where cookies or similar technologies involve personal data, we also follow Curaçao's Landsverordening bescherming persoonsgegevens (LBP) and the GDPR, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Managing cookies

You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because our website doesn't rely on cookies for visitors, blocking them won't affect how it works.

7. Changes

If we ever start using analytics or marketing cookies, we will first ask for your consent with a cookie banner and update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
